【墨尔本凯林留学移民】IT专业移民至关重要的职业评估选择

我们在咨询过程中,发现很多已经毕业的计算机专业的同学们不清楚自己到底应该做哪一个专业的职业评估。更有不少在读的学生,不知道应该如何选课、选哪些课才可以通过职业评估拿到PR。今天,凯林留学移民的顾问将详细为大家讲解IT各个专业职业评估对课程的要求。

总的来说,IT专业在SOL(独立技术移民职业清单)有以下几类。目前ICT和systems analyst移民分数为70分,analyst programmer,developer programmer和software engineer移民为65分,computer network移民分数为60分。因此,若能做出分数要求低的专业,对同学们来说再好不过,也至关重要。

首先,需要明确一点的是:ACS(澳大利亚计算机协会,IT专业的职业评估机构)是不会建议、或协助大家指明应该选择哪一项类别的。他们会要求申请者递交前自己决定。这就给同学们带来了不少难题。

其次,ACS职业评估不像会计专业,明确给出哪些学校被CPA认证,必须通过哪些必修和选修课程,英语要求等。ACS没有具体的要求,给出的规则很概括:

At least 65% ofthe ICT units in your qualification must be relevant to the nominatedoccupation。

那么,究竟应该如何选择自己的类别呢?

虽然没有具体科目的要求,但ACS还是给出了一定课程选择的范围的。同学们可以自己对照课程,若自己65%以上的课程都满足要求,那基本上就可以做出此专业的职业评估了
